The most important and impactful piece of news about our DMM Products is that they will now be available from DMM’s Website!

This is fabulous in many ways but the main one being that these products are custom coloured and branded to raise funds for the protection of native forests around the world.

Our 2025 collection includes a limited number of custom-coloured products: the XS Impact Block, Vault Lock, Ultra O and XSRE Locksafe.

This year our focus is on a rare temperate rainforest in Scotland—managed by the Friends of Glenan Wood.

Situated on the Cowal peninsula of Argyll, it is a small fragment of Scottish Atlantic rainforest, a rare ecosystem currently safeguarded through community ownership with the help of charitable donations and grants.

Ultra O

The Ultra O's symmetrical rope baskets are ideal for assisted breaking devices, pulleys, swivels and shackles. They also give stable loading characteristics, as attachments can self-centre under load with minimal movement from the carabiner.
Oval for symmetry; shape allows central positioning of devices
Oval connectors are popular in rope access and tree care situations where multiple connectors, slings, ropes or even pulleys can be connected. They are equally at home in fall arrest situations or as part of a pre-rigged rescue system. The round basket shape allows any of the connection points to self-centre when weighted - this helps avoid the unnerving click that often happens with a more D-shaped connector. The symmetrical basket mean rotation within systems is not required as they sit comfortably either way round.
Keylock clean nose for snag free connection
DMM's patented 'Taperlock' closing mechanism increases gate push-in and cross gate strength using a special flared profile on the nose of the carabiner, as well as allowing a snag free connection for your ropes, slings and devices.
Captive bar option for security
Many of our connectors can be supplied cross-drilled to accommodate captive bars. This means that the lanyard or attachment cannot be removed and ensures that the direction of force applied in the event of a fall is along the major axis of the connector, giving maximum strength and holding power. The captive bars themselves are not for load bearing use.

The two part aluminium alloy Vault is secured using a stainless steel bolt and is the ideal solution for gear storage, organisation and transportation.

Toucan XSRE Locksafe

Rounding out the offerings of XSRE gate types, the incredibly secure Locksafe gate is auto-locking and requires three distinct actions to open. This equates to no danger of forgetting to lock the gate, and very little risk of the gate opening when you'd rather it didn't. The result is a high security mini-connector great for non-PPE use on worksites, in treecare, campervans and just about wherever.
The XSRE Locksafe also brings new and unique colour combinations to the range, something made possible by the immense popularity of these scaled-down accessory carabiners.

Impact Block

Designed for use in any industry where loads may be dropped onto rigging with considerable impact forces. The combination of high quality materials and advanced production processes has ensured a rope friendly, durable, robust block that looks amazing and performs even better. Lightweight in mass but not strength, our Impact Blocks have passed incredible dynamic, torsion and static tests - a true testament to their strength to weight ratio.
The next generation Impact Block XS incorporates a number of additional features. The interlocking anchor bollard is a unique design and doubles security. Oversized ball bearings reduce friction and wear, promoting great efficiency. Designed to combine lightweight and compact with high performance, the Impact Block XS will become your best friend for redirect rigging, winching and snatching stem wood. In addition to highly evolved fairlead flares, the sheave is integrated with the side plates to ensure seamless transitions for your rigging line, while the all-new hollow axle design facilitates complex rigging configurations and allows for maintenance such as servicing of the bearings or replacement of the sheave (hollow axle max. rope diameter, XS: 10mm, L: 20mm). Validated for long term use in the toughest of environments with the most demanding of operators, robustness and resilience are already proven.
