A message from the Siekoya Remolino

Jimmy Piaguage youth forest defender and co-founder of the SËRA Foundation shares a heartfelt message to all who participated in the Big Canopy Campout 2023.

Jimmy explains the impact that the support and fundraising has and will have on protecting their ancestral home within the Ecuadorian amazon rainforest.

We are weeks away from the second phase of our 2023 campaign where a team of tree climbers and herbalists will arrive in the Siekopai territory to assist the Siekoya Remolino community in diversifying their sustainable sources of income and improve food sovereignty.
